GEO 470 Summer Oceanographic Research Cruise

Study of 3 oceangraphic regimes: estuary, sound, and open ocean. Students will learn contemporary techniques by gathering and analyzing hydrographic, biologic, and geologic datdata from a series of stations in each of the three regimes. The entire instructional program will take place on board the CUNY OCeangraphic Research Vessel. The student will live on board ship for 10 days. Analysis and reporting data on board ship will constitute a lab notebook to be turned in at the end of the cruise.
