POL 337 Public Opinion and Polling

Expanded influence of polls in modern American government and politics. Types and mechanisms of polls and their manipulation and interpretation. Mathematical foundations of polling. PREREQ: Students are advised to take one of the following courses: POL 166, POL 245, POL 331 (SOC 301), or Departmental permission. Also students are advised to satisfy the College Mathematics Requirement with MAT 132 before taking this course.
